Flirty & Fun Night Out

Flirty and fun was the over all feel for my outfit of the night to celebrate a good friend Alexis'sbirthday.  Her party was one of many for the week and we all surrounded her in love and support for a few cocktails and good music in Charlotte.  Typically I stay away from skater skirts because they can make my hips look bigger than what they are.  This skirt from Luxe Vain Boutique actually complimented my shape well and was perfect with a top that I pinned to create a crop top look.  For a little sparkle I added big rhinestone earrings and a sequin clutch.

Pretty Blue Peplum

The best way to shine in a room full of people is by wearing a bold color.  Recently I went to Fashion Night Out in Fayetteville, NC and had a chance to mingle with various business owners.  By choosing two strong primary colors like blue and red I was able to stand out from the crowd.  Anytime two bold colors are paired together it's a great idea to wear a black or white bottom.  The H&M skirt I snagged was a perfect compliment to my bold hues.

A Floral Arrangement

One of the early highlights of this spring season has been the Peter Pilotto line for Target debut.  I am in lust with the bold patterns and textured designs.  Peter managed to create a line that looks chic and not too busy.  I was able to grab a few of this collection pieces that I will be showing off in a few posts to come.  Recently, I've rocked my new top at my good friend Mia's meet and greet.  The leather detail from my jeans looked great with the black line detail of my top and I wanted to compliment the bold color of my top with a very sultry red lip.  My make up was soft and light with a brown smokey eye.  If you're ever in Charlotte be sure to check out the fabulous women's boutique House of Chanel.
