NYX Lippy Love

Go in the beauty supply store for ONE item and leave with many?! LOL, I know I can't be the only that gets lured in to spend more than I plan to spend.  I popped in the hair beauty supply store for $0.99 wig clips (for an upcoming hair venture) and leave with $40 wort of stuff.  I wondered down the make up aisle and behold the NYX brand display.  Each color looks rich and deep and prices are very low at $7 per item.  SCORE!  The colors are true to color and apply very thick.  It is recommend to apply a lip conditioner to prevent cracking.  The color can also look dry if lip conditioner is not used.  All in all, these colors are bright and vivid and very good coverage.  I do not like how they can crack or look dry or stain my lips but I still recommend NYX lipsticks and will be grabbing more.

One Skirt, Two Looks: Tribal Skirt Remix

There has been so many dresses and skirts I've seen lately with the tribal print trend.  I love them all!!!  This particular skirt I picked up from Forever21 and just had to have it.  Even though this skirt is a medium, I tried it on and loved the way it looked.  I wore this skirt twice so far and paired it both times with a popping yellow color.

The Yellow bandeau top is actually a scarf that I tied around my strapless bra.  Check out YouTube for many DIY videos and try it yourself!! This top is a show stopper and will instantly make you feel sexy and like a diva doll.  Next I wore a silk hello tank with bright colored gems on a waist belt.  Stay tuned for future posts as I definitely will be wearing this skirt again!

Good Luck Charming

Chic and comfy was my inspiration for my Saturday outfit of the day.  I wanted to wear a bright color to welcome the spring weather and choose a creamsicle orange  horseshoe peekaboo top.  The shirt is light and sheer which moved nice.  I wanted a loose almost slouchy fit so bought the top in a 2X.  I love the cut out shoulders and stand up collar detail and wore my gold hoop earrings to give a 90's feel.  Since I wore this shirt with dark jeans and a neutral brown shoe (which I featured here) I painted my lips with a bright pink color Viva Glam Nicki -coveted by every make up maven after its special release. This basic glam look was perfect for dinner and I received many compliments.

The Beauty Of Being Naked

 I just cannot say enough about Urban Decay's Naked $50 and Naked 2 $50 natural eye palettes. The colors are so versatile and and the neutral shades can create different looks.  Wither you want to create a basic, soft look for the day to wear to work, or a dark smoky eye for a night out on town.  The only problem I saw was both palettes had a gold shade called "half baked".  The palette has a range of metallic, matte, and shimmery colors.  Both palettes have 12 colors and are a great value for anyone.  You can grab both at Sephora.com.

All The Style & Half The Price

Saturday night I continued my weekend of partying and stepped out to a casual night club.  With my new GoJane.com shoes (similar to Jeffery Campbell's "Lita" $150-$185 ) I had to sturt my stuff all night in comfort.  I LOVE how chunky and tall my lace-up leatherette platforms are and instantly stylish with ANYTHING you put on.  They can be dressed up, or dressed down.  I wore my shoes with a hunter green and cream stripped bodycon skirt and a loose ruffly cream shirt.  The height of the shoe made my legs look great, and I felt sexy in my outfit.  Because I love my new shoes so much! I can justify splurging on the real deal, but in the meantime I have three more pairs I will be buying from GoJane.

Magical MAC Bag

Close your eyes.  Imagine a black bag with three white letters.  Imagine the bag floating towards you.  Then reach your arm in to find your most desired items!  That is exactly what happened to me today.  My very best friend surprised me with new MAC brushes and makeup!  Seems like the bag was magical because each time she reached in it, she kept pulling something out!
