The Suite Life: Come Shop With Me!

FINALLY, I can share the awesome news that I will be hosting an intimate event featuring Luxe Vain Boutique.  Shop until you drop during The Suite Life shopping event at the Hyatt Hotel in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday September 15th.  The city will be buzzing with fashionistas from all over the United States for Charlotte Fashion Week.  Sounds like fun right? Well come on out and I can't wait to see all you Divadolls there!

From Day To Night

If your days are anything like mine then you may have at one point or another had to convert a day look into a night one.  I had to do just that for my girlfriend's dinner outing.  The outing was something intimate and cute, nothing big.  So I did not want to dress in club attire, but wanted to do a little more than just jeans and a cute top. The Brushstrokes Cold Shoulder Dress was a perfect pick to wear for work and then play.  By wearing a denim jacket the dress became casual for work.  At first, I planned to wear just the dress and a darker lip color for dinner but felt the dress became too sexy.  So instead I wore a denim vest to show the feminine shoulder details of the dress and a coral lipstick; which isn't pictured below since the photos were taken after dinner.  Next time I think I will try a blazer for my work choice, what do you think?

Golden Radiance

The favorite part of this outfit is my golden radiant tan!  I spent all day in the sun and my skin is glowing from the sun's kisses.  To keep my skin the focus of my outfit I wore a simple bodycon dress from Forever 21 which is from the regular size section {Crissy's Tip: Try everything on, because if it stretches, it fits!}.  I contoured my face and did not use blush but instead a bronzer and gold glitter to make my face and skin warm and shiny.  A dress, high heel and popping lip makes my outfit complete and the pretty girl convention was underway.

COMME des F*CKDOWN

Anyone that knows me knows that I love to go to the movies and at least twice a month I head out to see the newest release.  So when my make believe husband Denzel Washington starred in a new release movie called 2 Guns, I was sure to make it a date night and head out for dinner and a movie.  Bad Gal Rihanna was my inspiration for this look by sporting Asos Curve basic fleck jogger pants with a modest 4" heel in Riri Woo red.  The pants I ordered once before in my normal size, but I had to return them because they were wayyyyyyyyy to big. {Crissy says: *for the best fit with these joggers, you should size down two sizes.}  The size of the joggers I am wearing is a size 14 and they still fit a little larger than I would like them to.  The Asos t-shirt with v-neck and PU panel detail gave a luxe look to my outfit and the shirt is from Asos as well and be purchased here.  To complete the bad girl look of course I had to pop my makeup with Rihanna's Riri Woo lipstick by MAC.

Who Runs The World?! Beyonce!

As the countdown neared I was frantic to find an outfit for the most anticipated concert of the year; Beyonce.  Every outfit that came to mind was either too clubby or too casual and I wanted to look stunning for King Bey.  By wearing sequin I was able to achieve a glamourous look.   I felt diva-like in an Asos Curve peplum top in multi sequin paired with distressed white jeans.  My look was both dressy and edgy and hologram barely there heels completed my outfit with chandelier earrings.  The venue had a special gourmet dinner for VIP guests which was spectacular.  I also had suite access in addition to my lower level ticket and I enjoyed a great view.  The best part of the night was meeting Ty Hunter, the well known stylist of Beyonce.  By far Beyonce's concert was the best event I've ever been to.  Beyonce shows so much love to fans and her dancers and band and the atmosphere of the concert is indescribable.  She is an inspiration for myself to work hard at my dreams and never do something halfway, but 100% every time.

Pouty Lips Curvy Hips

Anything uplifting and supportive of self love and body image I LOVE and give my full support.  So when Chante Bryant and Essie Golden design this Pouty Lips Curvy Hips t-shirt I was all over it!  Comfy and chic was the inspiration of this look and i styled my top with an army green bodycon skirt and a menswear vest.  By the way, MAC Riri Woo is a tad brighter than MAC Ruby Woo but equally as drying of the lip.  It's still a gorgeous hue and I loved the way RiRi Woo brightened my face.

Happy Birthday Crystal Chanel!

Very special was the best way to describe my birthday, I decided to wear something a little different than what I usually wear and rocked a colorful Suzi Chin for Maggi Boutique wrap dress and sparkly, sequin 5" Sam Elderman shoes.  Since my birthday is during LGBT pride weekend in Charlotte I partied at a local club and celebrated with a VIP table with some close friends.  I would be lying if I said I remembered what all happened, that night was a movie and I brought in my birthday with style.
