Vamp It Up With MAC Hautecore & MAC Talk That Talk

What better way to celebrate Winter than a dark, sultry lip?  MAC Hautecore made its second debut this Black Friday holiday and is the perfect black matte lipstick for any occasion.  Some may think rocking a black lipstick can be extreme, but for me black is perfect for a bold, in your face vampy look.  With cascading curls and a mixture of colors from my outfit, the black lip was the perfect contrast for my outfit of the night.

If you're not quite ready to walk on the darkside, try wearing a raisin or plum color lip.  My hands down favorite matte lipstick has been Rihanna's Talk That Talk.  This color is a brown, raisin shade and is also matte.  The deep color compliments any skintone and gives a sexy and sophisticated look.  TTT was my choice to compliment my gold foil mini dress for a night out with the girls.  What are some of your favorite vampy lipsticks?

How To Wear Faux Fur: Sheer Chic

Faux Fur vests are very on trend for the winter season.  When its chilly but not cold enough for a coat,  I love to toss on an extra layer to my outfit with a vest.  For this particular look I rocked my grey hue faux fur jacket with all black.  The outfit was casual but the shiny fabric of my pants and the leather detail of my top along with the sheer sleeves really made my outfit luxe.  Check out this post here where I wore a similar outfit; guess I'm a bit obsessed with sheer and fur.  Be sure to spruce up any black on black outfit with a fun and bright lippie!

Flirty & Fun Night Out

Flirty and fun was the over all feel for my outfit of the night to celebrate a good friend Alexis'sbirthday.  Her party was one of many for the week and we all surrounded her in love and support for a few cocktails and good music in Charlotte.  Typically I stay away from skater skirts because they can make my hips look bigger than what they are.  This skirt from Luxe Vain Boutique actually complimented my shape well and was perfect with a top that I pinned to create a crop top look.  For a little sparkle I added big rhinestone earrings and a sequin clutch.
