Be The Cool, Blank Canvas Relaunch

One of the easiest ways to show support for something is by gifting your presence.  Thats exactly how I supported the relaunch of Blank Canvas; which is a stylish men's store in Charlotte, NC that specializes in making their clients be the cool (the stores mantra).  The owners Harold and Nicole have backgrounds in architectural and interior design which definitely shows in the decor.  I loved the handmade wood and iron pipe shelves as well as the adjustable height lightbulb chandelier.  While being a social butterfly, I met neo-soul poets and photographers and it seemed everyone was deeply involved with the arts.   Music, makeup and photography were the topics of the night. My outfit captivated attention with the on trend fringe detail of my belt along with just enough sexy with my deep plunge top and red lip.  I had a ball and look forward to another networking night out in the future.

Cupcakes & Champagne Soiree with Rip Lash Salon

Any girl would love to get pampered and spoiled right?  How about in style with crystal chandeliers, a smiling staff and pink all around you?  That's the experience you can expect at the new Buff Salon at Rip Lash Beauty Salon.  This salon is located near downtown Charlotte and specializes in nail care, waxing, and make up application.  I had the pleasure of hosting the grand opening for Rip Lash Salon where I sipped on the tastiest pink champagne and ate the best cupcakes.........omg those cupcakes {had to have a flashback they were so good}.  Also, I loved the champagne infused strawberries from a local dessert company Trio's Treat.  If you're in the Charlotte and surrounding area make sure you book an appointment with the girls and let me know what you think.

Networking: Not What You Know, But Who You Know

Networking is one of the major keys to success.  I jumped at the chance to meet some of the small business owners of Charlotte at the recent "Woman Who Network" event at the beautiful club Caviar.  This event held over 15 vendors and ambitious professionals to shop from and share information with.  With gourmet food and free entry the event was a success and I will be sure to be at the next one!  I wanted to rock my thigh high Zigi NYC Piarry boots with an all black ensemble and a pop of color on my lips.  Love the dress?  Check out similar at Luxe Vain Boutique.

Wake Up Pretty Party at Nordstrom!

Being invited to Nordstrom's Wake Up Pretty Party as a guest blogger was one of the best ways to start the new season.  It was quite a pleasure to be surrounded with other makeup and beauty product lovers as we heard from the top brands like YSL, Dior, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Clairosinic and more!  The event happens twice a year to showcase spring and fall beauty trends.  There was food, swag bags and giveaways along with training from top cosmetic artists and free make up demos- what more can a girl ask for?  If you ever have a chance to go to this event in your city, GO!  I promise you will not regret the $20 ticket fee and you'll have a load of fun.
