Wake Up Pretty Party at Nordstrom!

Being invited to Nordstrom's Wake Up Pretty Party as a guest blogger was one of the best ways to start the new season.  It was quite a pleasure to be surrounded with other makeup and beauty product lovers as we heard from the top brands like YSL, Dior, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Clairosinic and more!  The event happens twice a year to showcase spring and fall beauty trends.  There was food, swag bags and giveaways along with training from top cosmetic artists and free make up demos- what more can a girl ask for?  If you ever have a chance to go to this event in your city, GO!  I promise you will not regret the $20 ticket fee and you'll have a load of fun.

The Suite Life Shopping Event featuring Luxe Vain Boutique

As many of you may know I am a sucker for a hip-hugging sexy bodycon dress!  So I rocked the Sapphire Monroe Cocktail Dress, a gorgeous cobalt blue number from Luxe Vain Boutique, for an intimate shopping experience that was hosted at the beautiful Hyatt House in Uptown Charotte.  I absoluelty loved my dress and had to jazz it up with a print shoe so my leopard Ceres by London Trash became the shoe of the day.  To stay true to a pinup girl aesthetic, I wore my hair in a rolled up bun and wore a cat-eye look and MAC Yung Rapunxel lipstick.

This boutique has been something I've been working behind the scenes on to bring clothes that inspire and gives confidence and empowerment to voluptuous women.  With tasty cupcakes, drinks and music I had a great time meeting the beautiful women that came to shop and hang out with me.  Also a big thank you to my family and friends for helping make this event a success.  Do you want to shop LVB?  Just check out some of the new fall arrivals from Luxe Vain Boutique below.

Animal Instinct

When my sister, Caress comes in town its always a party!  This was definitely the case as we headed out for a night in Charlotte. This look came on the same night as the previous look here.  I had to change clothes as I had something on my white dress (I'm sure this happened to everyone at least once! LOL).  My Asos Midi Body-Conscious Dress In Dip Dye Animal Print was a hit and was very flattering on my wide hips and curvy frame.  MAC So Chaud mixed with MAC Morange complimented the highlight color in my Jessica Simpson heels.
