Cupcakes & Champagne Soiree with Rip Lash Salon

Any girl would love to get pampered and spoiled right?  How about in style with crystal chandeliers, a smiling staff and pink all around you?  That's the experience you can expect at the new Buff Salon at Rip Lash Beauty Salon.  This salon is located near downtown Charlotte and specializes in nail care, waxing, and make up application.  I had the pleasure of hosting the grand opening for Rip Lash Salon where I sipped on the tastiest pink champagne and ate the best cupcakes.........omg those cupcakes {had to have a flashback they were so good}.  Also, I loved the champagne infused strawberries from a local dessert company Trio's Treat.  If you're in the Charlotte and surrounding area make sure you book an appointment with the girls and let me know what you think.

Friends & Lovers The Night With Marsha Ambrosious

Friends and lovers, one hell of a combination.  This was the topic and mood for the Marsha Ambrosious concert with special guests Mprynt.  Anyone that knows me understands I'm a sucker for sultry and sexy R&B music.  One thing I can say is that Marsha Ambrosious doesn't need the lights, fancy costumes or back up dancers to put on a good show.  She has her cd quality voice and charm that delivered a great show.  No shade, many artist sound compelety different on cd than singing live but Marsha was not one of them.  She was surprisingly witty and funny; I felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend drinking and laughing all night.  If you have a chance to see Marsha in concert, go!  Oh yes, I can't forget bout the sexy boy band...or should I say man group Mprynt . At first I was unsure of them because of their coordinating outfits, but they quickly proved them selfs to be talented and engaging.  I equally enjoyed their singing and made it a note to self to invest in their music.

{First Look} Suite Success Tote- My First Thirty One Bag

If you're anything like me you may have your whole life stuffed in your purse.  Let's take it one step further and think about the times you may struggle to find your keys, work badge, or even your debit card in the never ending pit aka the bottom of your bag.  How about the dreaded water bottle that leaks on your iPod or cell phone, eek!  These are my struggles as a busy-body pack rat lol.  In any given moment, I may pull out a tablet, grapefruit, wet wipe, tweezers, magazine, or even an entire family size bottle of lotion (don't ask) from my pocket book.  Needless to say when I was asked by Regina, a Thirty One consultant, to choose a bag to review I was thrilled! I choose the Suite Success Tote because it seems perfect for holding all the randomness I carry around with me.

First look: I found this bag to be quite large and it seems to have enough compartments to handle all my necessities. The denim fabric and brown leather detail of the Suite Success Tote makes it very stylish and the lilac monogram makes my bag personal.  So far I'm impressed with my new toy.  Stay tuned for the full review of my new bag in a later post.  In the meantime, check out other cute items like a flat iron travel bag, a make up bag and overnight bag here.

Flirty & Fun Night Out

Flirty and fun was the over all feel for my outfit of the night to celebrate a good friend Alexis'sbirthday.  Her party was one of many for the week and we all surrounded her in love and support for a few cocktails and good music in Charlotte.  Typically I stay away from skater skirts because they can make my hips look bigger than what they are.  This skirt from Luxe Vain Boutique actually complimented my shape well and was perfect with a top that I pinned to create a crop top look.  For a little sparkle I added big rhinestone earrings and a sequin clutch.
