Unbothered, Belly And All- New Series

Have you ever had one of those days where you just 'wanna get away', maybe have some time to yourself or a day with your girls; a day-cation if you would? That was exactly how I felt over the weekend so I decided to check out downtown Charlotte and find some fun. With the Justin Timberlake concert and AKA Boulé going on, the city was live! The weather was 90 degrees plus so a light top and open legs were called for. Instead of wearing shorts, I opted for very trendy distressed jeans I picked up from the House of Chanel boutique. These jeans are available here and were the focal point of my outfit. Openly, I am an advocate for fat girls in crop tops but I also am an advocate for shape wear. I started the day without the proper undergarments and quickly made my way to the nearest Target. The self expressions by Madenform tummy control panties made my belly smooth and I instantly felt a boost of confidence....not too bad for $15 huh? Flirty Florals For Target

Matching print sets are all the rave for spring trends! Just grab and go with style when you rock a matching print set. I have been eyeing different coordinates for a while now but felt it kind of ~~cheesy~~ adolescent to actually buy one. However, when I was logy-gaging in Target the other day I wondered down the juniors section and fell in love with a flirty floral print duo from Xhilaration. The top and bottom was less than $40 and I figured I can rock the items together or separate, so I made the investment. I love the hidden shorts that's sewn under the skirt for comfort. The crop top has a wide design so it will cover any back love handles yet still show a little tummy for sex appeal. I bought both items in a size large and the top and bottom fit my 14/16 frame pretty good. A second splurge may be happening soon for the yellow coordinating set below!
