One of the easiest ways to glam up any look is to add an accessory. Looking for something different and bold? Check out Sassy Jones Boutique where they are experts on accessory fashion. I was contacted to review an item and when I saw the website, I feel in love with the entire store. With my personal style being unique with a taste of gaudy, of course I choose a beautiful multi colored statement necklace. With a simple peplum tank top and jeans, my new neck candy dressed up my casual date night outfit. If you love accesories as much as I do, you will enjoy Sassy Jones Boutique just as much too!

I'm In Love With Santa Rosa
One of my favorite contemporary plus size designers is Monif C and she's making a splash in the fashion world. Monif C. is known for having flattering body-conscious dresses and fly swimsuits. Her latest collection includes fun prints, bright colors and even great support. The sweet ladies over at Monif C gifted me the Santa Rosa underwire bikini in pink. I gasped at the vibrantcy of the colors when I opened the package. Immediately, I understood why the price is set higher than most swimwear...its the quality. The swimsuit is made of thick material and liner. The bra top includes a comfortable underwire to keep the girls sitting pretty. I must confess the sizing seems to run bigger than the size 16 I ordered. As a best practice, if you buy one of these swim suits you can safely size down. My day at the pool was filled with compliments and I felt sexy all day. Check out her other swimsuits here, I'm sure you'll find one to love!

Unbothered, Belly And All- New Series
Have you ever had one of those days where you just 'wanna get away', maybe have some time to yourself or a day with your girls; a day-cation if you would? That was exactly how I felt over the weekend so I decided to check out downtown Charlotte and find some fun. With the Justin Timberlake concert and AKA Boulé going on, the city was live! The weather was 90 degrees plus so a light top and open legs were called for. Instead of wearing shorts, I opted for very trendy distressed jeans I picked up from the House of Chanel boutique. These jeans are available here and were the focal point of my outfit. Openly, I am an advocate for fat girls in crop tops but I also am an advocate for shape wear. I started the day without the proper undergarments and quickly made my way to the nearest Target. The self expressions by Madenform tummy control panties made my belly smooth and I instantly felt a boost of confidence....not too bad for $15 huh? Going forward, I will feature bold Divadolls on my blog that use the hashtag #UnbotheredBellyAndAll. Love the movement? Join in and use the hashtag on your social media. See you fabulous ladies on Instagram and Facebook!

Gone With The Wind Fabulous
One of the goals I've been working on in 2014 is to be more social. You're probably thinking, "Crissy, not a social butterfly?? Yeah, right!' but its true. As a blogger and small business owner I know its important to network and find people that are knowledgeable in different aspects where we can help one another. Recently, I was invited to an intimate brunch where I was surrounded by established business women and entrepreneurs like myself. The brunch had a touch of a southern tea party with a twist of Kentucky Derby as we all looked gone with the wind fabulous in our fancy hats. The #WomenWhoNetwork business brunch was more than just sipping mimosas and trading business cards. When I left I felt a sense of encouragement and comfort and I am looking forward to the next event. If you're in Charlotte or the surrounding area and wish to attend, check out the Women Who Network Instagram page here for more information.

The Influence Fashion Show
"Style should not be compromised because of your size."
One of the many struggles in plus size fashion is finding the cross between sexy and appropriate for clothing options. The clothing provided by Luxe Vain Boutique proves you can have curves and flaunt them without looking too provocative. I was apart of the 2nd Annual Jewelry & Fashion Show “The Influence” hosted by the House of Chanel, Designs By Danny and Ego Emporium. The show featured different jewelry pieces as well and different designers showcasing their new looks. The message of the show was developed by A.Guy who is the fashion play producer for Dezign Nation. Her goal was to project how plus size fashion is not boring, ugly or, frumpy and that full figured women are over with wearing baggy 'paper bag' clothing. Luxe Vain is here to break through the stereotypes and flaunt the curves of the female body. I love the message and want every Divadoll to embody the Luxe Look.
